A slew of cases have followed in the wake of the iPhone 3G release last week. For now: The Leather Ones…

Proporta has announced that the Maya line will ship at the end of the month. A small cut out is provided for access to the charging port. Looking like 70’s sunglasses cases or something an ice cream bar would come in, (if ice cream bars came in leather cases) these handcrafted pouch-type cases come in a variety of colors.

Meanwhile, Vaja is expanding on their case lines with four new offerings. Coming to the Classic line is a Pouch and Retro Slim Bag, while the i-volution line has added a Top and SP model. More cases are on the way, but for now, these leather beauties look pretty happening.

Case-mate has hit the mark with several new cases. The Signature Series is hand crafted and comes in Sienna Red or a classic Black. Free personalization is available and screen protection is included. A holster combo is also available with a belt clip.

If you’re in the need for a hot pink crocodile embossed leather case, look no further. Case-mate has your new iPhone covered. If hot pink ain’t your style, there are other colors to select from, including brown, black, green, grey and red.

The top of the line model from Case-mate is the Carbon Fiber Case with rare leather that has previously been used in high-end aftermarket cars. Available in Silver or Black. Like all of the Case-mate cases the leather is wrapped around impact-resistant molded shell.

While there’s no doubt that the well-endowed TL34HD was Sammy’s pride and joy here this day, the firm still has three others to round out its 2H 2008 digicam family. The TL9 point-and-shoot features a 10-megapixel sensor, 5x optical zoom, 2.7-inch LCD monitor and an SVGA movie mode, while the SL201 gets a 10.2-megapixel sensor, 3x optical zoom and most of the same fringe benefits. Holding it down in the rear is the 13.6-megapixel SL310W, which packs a 28mm wide-angle lens, 3.6x optical zoom, 2.7-inch LCD and lots more of the standard fare. Look for these to land this September for $279.95, $169.95 and $229.95 in order of mention. Full release waiting after the cut.

So the rumor mill wasn’t too far off on this one: Samsung is indeed cranking out a 14.7-megapixel point-and-shoot, but the US name will be TL34HD. While it’s hard to say if nearly 15-megapixels in a shooter this size is overkill (though signs are pointing to “yes”), users will also find a Schneider lens with a 28mm wide-angle focal length and 3.6x optical zoom to complement the 3-inch VGA monitor around back. Furthermore, the cam features a 720p motion picture mode at 30fps, and you’ll likely be thrilled to know that the movie stabilizer and optical zoom can be used while logging clips. Check out the full array of specs after the jump, and feel free to try one yourself this September for $329.95.
